New Information on the Apple iPad 2
The first whispers of the Apple iPad 2 are here, with a number of companies in the Apple supply chain confirming their involvement. The final design has been completed, the parts are in production, and the upgrades have practically been announced.
Five companies have confirmed their involvement in the next generation iPad. Two camera companies, Genius Electronic Optical Co Ltd and Largan Precision have confirmed they are involved, and three other companies, chip designer Wintek, battery maker Simplo, and cover manufacturer AVY Precision have also confirmed their involvement.
The main upgrades on the next gen Apple iPad are likely to be both a front and rear facing camera, an SD card slot, better display resolution, and a slimmer, lighter overall design. News regarding the dual cameras and SD card slot have been confirmed by case design companies Shenzhen MacTop Electronics and Kodawarisan, who have obviously designed their new cases with the both of these features in mind.
The lack of connectivity on the current generation iPad was seen as a negative for many consumers, and Apple seem ready to go a little beyond the current limitations of their 30-pin connector. However, this is still not going to be enough connectivity for some people. Luckily however, there are a number of Android tablets now also available for people who need easy USB access.
The next generation iPad cases show the same placement for the existing mute switch and headphone port, although they also shout-down another iPad 2 rumour that has been doing the rounds. There is no space for a second 30-pin connector on the side for landscape-style docking, a feature some people thought was going to appear on the new model.
One other report doing the rounds this week is that Apple partner Foxconn are ready to start shipping the new iPads within 100 days, which would fit with the estimated April launch that many people have been predicting over the last few weeks.
You Can Now Use Chrome To Surf Internet From Your Ipad
According to reports, Apple iPad tablet is the best device for users to surf the Internet (except Flash format).
Google Chrome is one of the most popular browsers at the moment. Unfortunately, because the limit of iPad to Javascript engine, it is difficult for Chrome to run directly on iPad.
People hope iPad can support Google cloud sync bookmarks, gesture control and some ChromeOS functions. Despite Apple application website provided access permission for Opera, but the influence of Opera is far from Chrome. So it is unknown whether Chrome can receive authentication. The following is the running rendering that Chrome runs in iPad.

The Real Tab Browsing:
Tag browsing feature is almost no real manifestation in mobile portable devices. Only Opera can provide better Tab browsing.
Tab Function:
Chrome’s Speed Dial and Bookmarks feature can be fully reflected on iPad flat screen. The new functions that “add to the main dial-up interface” and “Add to bookmarks” can help users manage the common web pages easily.
iPad uses the operating system which is based on iPhoneOS, but ChromeOS is based on browser. The two features in common is more portable and practical. If we can open Chrome browser in iPad and then run ChromeOS to deal with things, it might be wonderful thing.
OLLIE Christie: UK Developer Becomes 10-Billionth-App Man
OLLIE Christie got the phone call this weekend that every app creator dreams of getting.
OLLIE Christie, a developer who runs an applications and game design company near Oxford England, was surprised with an email on his phone over the weekend that read “Mr. Christie, I’m with Apple in Cupertino, Can you call me? I have some good news to share”. After returning the phone call, he was told that his “Paper Glider” app was the App Store’s 10 billionth download, which earned the downloader, another British resident, a $10,000 iTunes Gift card.
Christie said he was initially quite excited because he thought the message from Apple meant he was the winning downloader, and he had been watching the digital counter on Apple’s website along with millions of Apple users around the world. He said he had just put his kids to bed when he checked his phone and after reading the message, “My heart was going pitter-patter.”
Gail Davis was the lucky winner of the $10,000 iTunes Gift card, after one of her teenage daughters downloaded Christies’ program. Davis first hung up on the caller notifying her of the win, because she assumed it was a prank call. Her daughters convinced her to call Apple and so she was eventually able to claim the prize.
Christie, whose career in copywriting, and online game development includes the “Bikini-Bounce” game, will not enjoy the $10,000 iTunes Gift Card, but he is already benefiting from a huge increase in the number of downloads because of the immense publicity Apple generated around its App store benchmark.
Davis says, "The more I thought about it, the more I realized it was a genuine call. The girls were getting quite tense. They never would have forgiven me. They would have held it against me for all eternity."

Apple Ipad 2 Is Coming Soon
Release date of Apple’s iPad 2 is gradually approaching nearer (there are even reports that the gadget may be announced by the end of January).
We know Apple is going to update its iPad with a new model sometime this year. Now word on internet has it Apple will unveil second generation iPad in April with some new, exciting features. The 2nd gen iPad tablet will be a thinner and sleeker tablet, with a new screen technology which is pretty similar to iPhone 4's Retina Display. The device will have a 10-inch "super high resolution" display.
The new iPad will also feature a dual GSM / CDMA chipset produced by Qualcomm.
Other features include front and rear facing camera, and a SD card slot.
For more details on this, take a look at Techradar's report.
Iphone 5: The Next Generation Of Apple Products
Apple is expected to launch its next iPhone this summer, and new reports describe it as a "completely redesigned handset" as well as a "total rethink from a design standpoint."
To start, the iPhone 5's internals will be different - the device will run on a new, combined CDMA/GSM/UTMS chipset from Qualcomm, which will support both AT&T and Verizon in the U.S., as well as other carriers worldwide - perhaps even an expanded lineup, as would now be possible. Along with the iPad 2, this chipset change represents the transition away from Infineon as the iPhone and iPad chipset maker. Going forward, Qualcomm will make the chips for all Apple mobile devices.
The Apple company has acquired Swedish company, Polar Rose, known for its mobile face recognition technology FaceLib among other similar products.
If you're thinking about buying the iPhone 4, you'll be better off waiting for the iPhone 5 instead, as it should be coming out really soon this year.
Here are some of the expected features:
- The new iPhone 5 is expected to have Face Recognition Security so that you don't have to worry about other people stealing your phone and trying to use it... That is, unless they steal your face too.
- Video Chat on a 4G network instead of a slow 3G one
Much nicer overall body design of the phone. It's going to be even thinner and have a shiny black piece. - Shatter Resistant and Scratch Resistant Screen.
- The lowest model will come with 32G of space and 64G of memory. I'll be able to store my whole computer on the lowest model of the iPhone 5. Yippeee for me.
- Longer Battery Life - Up to 14 Hours of Talk Time On The 3G and 7 Hours on the 4G. With 14 hours of talking to my girlfriends, I'm only going to have 10 hours to sleep.
- HD Audio - The quality of sound is going to be extra crisp.
- Built In GPS - You'll never get lost or have to download one of those
stupidGPS apps.
In summary If the iPhone 5 is an evolutionary step like the move from the iPhone 3G to the iPhone 3GS then we'd expect the price to stay more or less the same, although in the UK higher VAT rates may well mean a higher price tag.

The Pulse iPad app is pulled out ... back to the Apple App Store
Last Monday, in his WWDC keynote speech, Steve Jobs singled out an RSS reader as a demonstration of a great new app for the iPad. On Tuesday, it got pulled from the App Store. Now, it's back again.
The $3.99 app, called Pulse, is a visual RSS reader for news headlines, which renders stories from multiple sources on a clean movable mosaic. It was created by Alphonso Labs - founded by two Stanford graduate students - in five weeks flat.
But it seems that the Times Company news organisation wasn't glad, and complained to Apple, which punctually pulled it from the store. Its complaint was based on the fact that the app was using the Nytimes.com and Boston.com free RSS feeds, reframing the content, and then charging a fee.
"We want to be clear that we are willing to work with Pulse, but only under our terms of use," Robert Christie, a spokesman for the Times Company, said in the New York Times.
But the app is now back, with no explanation from Apple, even though there are a few theories. CNET claims it was a mistake; All Things D says it's a new version which extracts the New York Times as a default feed.
Microsoft, HP and Adobe are preparing their offensive against Apple iPad
Flash Will it be the Achilles heel of Apple iPad? Roundly criticized by Steve Jobs himself, who refuses to integrate the iPad format, Adobe has released at least one video showing the future HP Tablet Slate ran it perfectly on this technology.
85% of websites and 75% of Internet videos using Flash. With Flash Player, HP Tablet Slate provides access to the entire Web, "says Alan Tam, head of marketing at Adobe Flash, which features examples of video sites, games, video clips, d 'photo albums or digital newspaper exploiting this technology.
Despite the false start of Tablet PCs and other Smart Display, Microsoft and its partners seem in any case, determined to win the segment of touch pads, a market that could also invest in Google or Sony in the coming months ...

Particular, it allows you to read electronic books and newspapers, surf the Internet, watch movies and play video games.
Apple has launched Friday in the U.S. 3G version of the iPad, which offers a dual Wi-Fi and 3G, with nearly a month late arrival on the shelf Wi-Fi model

The Ipad is a computer developed by Apple. It has a blow awning and has no keyboard, which defines it as a slate book PC type. It is advised to absorb the abandoned alcove amid the MacBook and the iPhone. The iPad was appear and presented at the Keynote of January 27, 2010.

Apple also adapt its software Pages, Keynote and Numbers (formerly grouped under the iWork for Mac), which are traded separately on the App Store at a price of $ 9.99 each
The desire of Steve Jobs, Adobe Flash technology will not be incorporated into the iPad, as is the case now on the iPhone and iPod touch.
After the presentation of the iPad, the press emphasizes the rendering speed of web pages, the responsiveness of the touchscreen and the sale price of the device, considered reasonable. Among the weaknesses, journalists are the presence of a virtual keyboard and regretted the lack of camera, as well as non-support of multitasking and Flash. The webdesigner complain of resolution 1024 × 768 pixels, considered low.
Walt Mossberg believes that the iPad outwardly resembles a large iPod touch but offers more powerful, closer to the versions for the Macintosh, especially in the case of productivity applications impression shared by David Pogue, for whom name "Wholesale iPod touch does not do justice to the device .
The press revealed that the group STMicroelectronics has introduced the brand "iPad" at OHIM in 2000, while Fujitsu was filed in 2003 with the USPTO. These companies use to sell different products in the field of electronics. In January 2010, Masahiro Yamane, director of public relations division of Fujitsu, said that the mark belongs to the Japanese In March, ownership is transferred to Apple. In 2007, the trademark "iPhone" was already the subject of a dispute between Apple and Cisco, before the two companies reach an agreement to share.
The Free Software Foundation, which campaigns against the systems of digital rights management, regrets that, as in the case of the iPhone, third-party applications for the iPad are required to be licensed by Apple and distributed on its App Store. However, it allows Apple to manage applications on the App Store. Thus, the firm has already done the cleaning of the slate of the App Store by removing, for example, applications of a sexual nature or to ensure the safety of these mobile terminals (for exemption).

Kim Yeo-hee, Si AppleGirl
